Bing Crosby: A Celebration of his Life on the one hundredth anniversary of his birth
Held at Gonzaga University, Spokane Washington, May 16 - 18, 2003

Celebrity panel discussions took place at the University chapel and featured among others, Buddy, Kathryn Grant Crosby, Rich Little and Gary Giddins, writer for The Village Voice and the author of the new Bing Crosby Biography, "Bing Crosby: A Pocketful of Dreams - The Early Years, 1903-1940".

Interesting facts: Bing Crosby received an honorary doctorate from Gonzaga University in 1937. He had an interest and affection for his alma mater throughout his life. He contributed to the library building campaign. Through his efforts the Crosby Library was constructed and dedicated as a memorial to the Crosby family in 1957. Since the 1950's, Gonzaga has received donations of Bing Crosby material from Bing, his family, friends and fans.
