WHAT'S NEW?
Four 18-21 years old ladies: Linda, Kali, Dobie and Vanity win a special beauty/intelligence/talent contest in the various cities they come from -- San Francisco, Kansas City, Texahoma, Denver -- and win two weeks as a 'showgirl' plus scholarship money at a Las Vegas hotel . . . and each beautiful young woman sees this as their chance to make it!
The film is about the young ladies' two-week learning experience in Las Vegas -- the joys and frustrations that go along with their fast-paced brand new experiences. The four young ladies being at a so-called 'ripe age' learn quickly -- one way or another -- to deal with life. We see how each vulnerable young lady deals with her rocky emotional 'first time away from home' experience. Their moral decisions, career and/or college choices, guys, good as well as bad family problems left behind, as well as other character-building environmental factors which are continually thrown at them during this exciting sojourn of overwhelming responsibility and commitment.
The story line is about hope and dreams and how they are affected by choices amid the glitz and glamour of Las Vegas. The various young ladies present different perspectives and different paths to a common dream and more important, how choice determines if a dream can become a reality or is a fantasy. More than anything the story deals with making choices and how they can change your life.
